In a commercial environment where Customers and design houses constantly talk Asia for production of tooling, we have established a commercial balance between local and Asian production, thus, giving our customers the best options for their respective projects.
We have long standing relationships with both local and overseas tooling companies enabling fast accurate cost comparisons for all projects.
Many tooling projects, particularly those for small tools, can be cost competitive and production times less from local toolmakers.
Example: A typical small tool quoted at 6 weeks locally or 4 weeks from China, will inevitably take 7 weeks from China when shipping and port delays are taken into consideration. Although air freighting leads to increased tooling costs, it allows for in a reduction in lead time.
However, on larger size projects lead times and prices are generally 20-60% less than locally produced tooling.
All tools manufactured conform to C&C Plastics and Toolmaking standard requirements ensuring quality, reliability and serviceability is achieved. We personally monitor tool production for both locally and overseas manufactured tools.
All tools are manufactured under a certified quality system conforming to ISO 9001:2000.
